Definitely sound sick - ack, I'm sorry. But the wine-tasting makes me happy - I love Zins, and I only know 'em red. *g* Shiraz is a fave of mine, too, and occasionally new-world Cabernets.
Weirdly enough, while some the best wines ever I've had were Pinot Noirs, I also often find the usual ones too light and insubstantial, preferring heavier reds.
